Creating a Sprecho account takes about thirty seconds, and the 14-day Pro trial starts immediately without a credit card. This article covers signing up, verifying your email, what the trial actually includes, and what happens on day 15.
1. Sign up
You can create an account on sprecho.ai or directly in the desktop app the first time you open it. Both lead to the same account.
Two ways to do it:
- Email and password. The password needs at least 8 characters with one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one number.
- Continue with Google, Microsoft or Apple. No separate password to remember, and it is the fastest route if your work identity already lives with one of those.
Your name is optional. It is only used to address you in the app and on invoices.
2. Verify your email
If you signed up with an email address, we send a six-digit code. Enter it in the app or on the website to activate the account.
The code arrives within a minute. If it does not:
- Check the spam folder — the sender is
noreply@sprecho.ai. - Use Resend code on the verification screen. There is a short cooldown between sends.
- If you mistyped the address, choose Use a different email and start again.
Accounts created through Google, Microsoft or Apple are already verified and skip this step.
3. What the 14-day Pro trial includes
The trial is full Pro, not a limited demo:
- Unlimited dictation — no weekly word cap for the 14 days.
- AI formatting — punctuation, capitalisation, filler-word removal and layout.
- Personal dictionary with auto-learning for names, jargon and product terms.
- Snippets — voice shortcuts for text you type over and over.
- Notes, plus searchable dictation history.
- 100+ languages with automatic detection.
- Desktop and mobile on the same account.
No payment details are stored, nothing renews automatically, and you never get an invoice you did not ask for.
The trial is per account, not per device. Signing in on a second computer does not start a second trial, and it does not use up the first one either.
4. What happens when the trial ends
On day 15 your account moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked:
- You get 2,000 words per week, which resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
- Your dictionary, snippets, notes and history stay exactly as they were.
- You can upgrade to Pro at any point, and the same free plan is waiting again if you ever cancel.
The app shows a weekly quota badge so you can see how much of the 2,000 words you have used. When you hit the limit, dictation pauses until Monday or until you upgrade — nothing else about the app changes.
If you would rather keep unlimited dictation, Pro is €12.99 per month including VAT, or €10.99 per month when billed annually. Payments run through Mollie and support cards and SEPA Direct Debit.

2,000 words a week is roughly ten to fifteen short emails. If you find yourself watching the badge, Pro is the answer.
