This update brings a new tap-to-lock recording mode, more direct formatting-model choices, personal usage stats, and a set of reliability and usability fixes.
New
- Tap-to-lock record key: tap to start a locked recording for hands-free dictation, hold to use push-to-talk for momentary recording.
- Per-category formatting model selection (desktop): the old Style page is replaced so you can choose the formatting model that best fits each category of dictation.
- Formatting-model selection (mobile): the mobile style picker is replaced with direct formatting-model choices for more consistent results between devices.
- Personal daily stats dashboard: view your daily dictation activity and usage in the dashboard to track your work over time.
- Resumable dictation uploads: long recordings can resume upload instead of restarting, reducing wait time and data use. Note: mobile resume support is currently disabled by default while we finish rollout.
- Developer A/B testing tools (dev-only): dev-only endpoints and a model/feature bar have been added to support prompt and formatting A/B tests.
- Enterprise & admin tools: improvements for terminal-server agents, team toggles, and agent release flows for admins and team managers.
Improved
- Caret-aware capitalization: capitalization now respects the cursor position on macOS, Windows, and RDP sessions, so transcripts use the correct sentence case.
- DevBar model options: additional model choices added to the developer formatting selector to make testing different formatting models easier.
- Persistent personal stats: personal daily statistics are now preserved more reliably and survive related-item deletions.
Fixed
- Hotkey onboarding and saved chords: modifier-only hotkey chords now save correctly and the onboarding hotkey tester behaves consistently.
- Verified sessions through network blips: you will stay signed in through brief connection outages instead of being unexpectedly logged out.
- Recording finalization and upload reliability: interrupted uploads now fall back to safer completion paths to avoid partial text and reduce lost content.
- Cross-user dictionary cache bug: switching users no longer leaves an empty dictionary page.
- Password reset navigation: password reset flows now navigate to the correct screens.
- Team access and billing accuracy: fixes to license timing and billing logic prevent paid teams from losing access incorrectly and ensure team stats use local calendar dates.
- Referral and settings display: fixed an issue that could hide referral codes on settings and referral pages.
Several smaller infrastructure and admin improvements were also applied to improve stability and deployment workflows.
